Team 3 - Uzumaki Mikoto

My first OC - In case you didn't guess by the name she's SasuNaruko Spawn. I know, it's a trace everywhere except her lower legs and feet, but I felt lazy drawing it. I'll try harder next time, promise!

Background

Birth: During the war, Naruto was captured by Madara and held captive in his batcave hideout as he searched for Killer Bee, whom had gone into complete hiding on her capture.

With Madara gone, Sasuke was forced to watch her cell and ensure she didn't escape, during which time Sasuke took a great deal of pleasure in mocking her 'so-called bonds', and the strength she had from them.

Naruto ignored him for a month, before snapping that at least her family was proud of her - not like how dissapointed Itachi was with him.

After he demanded an explanation Naruto revealed Itachi's plans to use an Illusion on him for if he found out about the massacre, and the use of Itachi's body by Kabuto.

Sasuke became very confused, begining to doubt m=Madara even if his hatred of konoha remained. After confronting Madara about Itachi's revival, and realising Naruto had told the truth, he slowly began to loose any faith he had in the man.

Another month passed, and Sasuke snapped when naruto baited him about Itachi, and his role in killing him. Using his Mangekyo on her, sasuke was sucked into her mind by remnants of Itachi's Chakra.

Itachi spoke with him, delivered some hom truths and prompted Sasuke into seeing just how far he had fallen. Released, Sasuke was close to inasnity, having lost his drive towards revenge for the first time in his life due to his self doubts and Itachi's counselling.

Not knowing what else he was supposed to do, he released Naruto and helped her escape. As they headed back to the headquarters of the army, he slowly began to loose his mind, terrified by the re-forming relationship between them.

Naruto was equally confused, but didnt complain when he *ahem* 'approached her' either.

They reached the army in time to stop Madara, which took the last of Sasuke's sanity when Naruto stopped a technique sent for him in a re-enactment of the Wave mission, and collapsed. Believing her dead, Sasuke's vengeance returned enough for him to finish of her job of Madara before he lost his mind.

The war trials soon started, and despite his large role in attacking the summit and others, the council agreed that he could be tried in acknowledgement of his insanity. In spite of this and his role in killing Madara, he was to receive a death sentence due to the laws.

Naruto then called up old laws that had been written during the last wars in hopes of at least sparing him from death. Ones that required him alive so that his assets could be used towards the care of a child and/or partner/spouse.

With this new information, the Kages reconvened and eventually changed the sentence to one of a life imprisonment in the reformed Hozukijo Castle, and anything Uchiha being liquidated into Naruto's name.

The sentence would only be altered on the appointment of a new Hokage, and also required Naruto to adopt a civillian status for the laws to apply.

Sasuke was confined in solitary imprisonment, and Naruto was permitted to visit him once before she gave birth to Mikoto.

Childhood: Mikot had an average childhood. She was not ostracised as Naruto was, but many villagers doubted if she would turn out like her father or not. When she was three years old, she visited her father for the first and only time, though she does not remember the visit.

In spite of this, she grew up with clear affection for both her parents, and admiration of them.

When she was seven, Kakashi replaced Tsunade as hokage, and Naruto began the process of lowering sasuke's sentence and regaining her Ninja status. Eventually, she managed to get his sentence lowered from a life imprisonment to nine years, securing his release during Mikoto's first year as a Genin.

She also reccieved a mission to start reforming Uzushiogakure to regain her Ninja status as Jonin, something that took her away from her daughter.

Mikoto was taken in by Ino Yamanaka when she left with the other members of her team, and grew to be good friends with her own daughter Mushiko ncj700.deviantart.com/art/Team… often dragging her into her troublemaking.

Name: Though her name is written legally as 'ミコト', Mikoto often writes it in Kanji as '尊', meaning 'Respect', 'Venerate', and 'Honour'. She is proud of it to the ectent that it becomes a little arrogant.

This only shows on rare occasions however, and for the most part, she happily goes by her nick name 'ミキちゃん' or 'Miki-chan'.

Personality: Mikoto inherited the stbborness, brains and stupidity of both her parents. She is impulsive, somewhat selfish at times, but will stand up for her own beliefs even after her back breaks.

Most of the time she is a very simple girl, who doesnt put much thought into her actions, and is unexpectedly polite.
Much of the time, she is exceptionally oblivious to her own intelligence, and enjoys causing trouble as her mother did.

Despite this, she is not very forgiving, and will and has held grudges for years.

Her main goal is to have a complete reunion with both her parents, and she is very dedicated to it. At first, it was her only goal, very much like Sasuke and his fixation on killing his brother as a Genin, and she had no care for those of other people until the chunin exams.

Here, she encountered Kabuto in the Forest of Death, and came of very worse for wear from it.

Not only did Kabuto give her a variation of the cursed seal so as to punish Sasuke for killing orochimaru, but she got her first taste of what life had been like for her parents.

Idolisation of her parents had left Mikoto with a glorified interpretation of their lives, despite what she had been told by others. Realising that thir life (and love life for that matter) wasnt what she had belived it to be, left her shaken.

In addition, she was blatantly exposed to the problems of her teammates (Mushiko's father/brother problems, and Shippo's adaptation to Clan life), and realised she wasnt the only one with hard aspects in her life.

Eventually Sakura and Sakumo helped her get a grasp of things, but her main help during this time was Sasuke.

Having been released, and regained his mind, he had returned and been confined to the village for evaluation. He helped her work through the control of the cursed seal, and the problems she was having with her view of himself and Naruto.

After he was sent to join Naruto in rebuilding Uzushiogakure for a final loyalty test, she had regained her confidence, and changed her attitudes in areas.

While her parents were still her main goal (wanting to join them in Uzushiogakure rather than stay in Konoha), she also resolved to help her team-mates to the best of her abilities.

Relationships: Her best relatinoships are with her father, Mushiko, and Sakura.

As a child Mikoto was adopted by Ino after her mother left for Uzushiogakure, and so she developed a sisterly relationship with Mushiko, and often dragged her into her troublemaking.

Mikoto greatly respects Sakura as a teacher, and as the best friend of her parents, but they have a very terse relationship. Sakura sees alot of her parents in Mikoto, and thus the potential for their mistakes, especially Sasuke's.

As such, she is a very strict teacher, and often gets into disputes with her in spite of herself. Mikoto fails to see why Sakura is so strict with her, and rebels whenever she can.

In spite of her attitude however, she often seeks Sakura's advice even before Mushiko, and is respects her status and skills as a Jonin, and fromer ANBU guard of the 6th Hokage (Kakashi).

Her relationship with her parents is a very good one in both directions, but her best relationship is easily with Sasuke. Though she doesn't know him as well her mother, Mikoto finds it much easier to relate to her father thanks to their similarities.

Sasuke's own childhood and personality is very similar to hers, though Mikoto is far more open minded, and so can explain thing she needs to hear, or give in the most effective way. Even if other people may consider him to be cruel in doing so.

Likes/Dislikes/Hobbies: Mikoto does not have many specific likes, though she has inherited her mother's side hobby of plant care.

Her main like is technically a crush, one directed at Kakashi's son Sakumo, and though she does her best to keep her enthusiasm under control, she does have her moments of... adamant admiration.

Mikoto has a horrendous fear of snakes, likely thanks to the stories she has heard of her parents as Genin and the role they played in screwing them over. This extends to her overreacting to even a worm, die to their resemblance to snakes shape-wise. She also hates bugs as a general rule altogether.

The chunin exams were a very trying time for her as she not only encountered bugs of every kind, but she also met Mushiko's half-snake father (though she only realised he was half snake after she started trying to goad him into a fight).

Her fear was another factor that resulted in the variation of the cursed seal she got from Kabuto

She is fond of the colours purple and yellow.Her favourite food is Sukiyaki, and though she will eat sweet foods on occasion, Mikoto has a marked preference for savoury foods. She is not a big fan of Ramen, but she is fond of it if she can dredge it with tomato flavouring.

Ninja Career

Team: Mikoto's teammates include Yamanaka Mushiko and Inuzuka Shippo. She gets along with both of them well, although she had a short dislike of Shippo upon first meeting her. Her Sensei is Haruno Sakura, smeone she idolises with her parents, despite their constant head butting.

Skills: Mikoto is a very skilled genin in most areas, graduating at the top of her class like her father, but she is most proficient in Ninja techniques, having little patience for Illusions.

She quickly learned how to wield her Lightning element after graduation, and on of her favourite techniques (taught to her by Sasuke) is a Lightning Clone.

Having tested her second element, she was devastated when instead of Fire, she gained her mother's Wind nature, but after being told of a possible third elemet from Sakura, she recovered and started training with it after Sasuke's departure.

She has inherited the Sharingan, activating it when she was 10 years old after falling down some stairs, and it is exactly the same as other Sharingan but for one key difference.

It is a deep blue rather than red. At first Naruto worried that it wasn't working properly, but tests showed otherwise, and she and Sasuke both consider it a mark of change for the bloodline, in-keeping with it's adoption into the Uzumaki Clan.

It is suspected to be a slight birth defect cause by the Kyyubi, as the birthmarks on Mikoto's face thicken whenever she uses it, much like Naruto's in her Kyuubi forms despite the fact she is not a Jinchuuriki.

She is very proficient with the Rasengan, but has not as yet decided to sign with the Cats of the Uchiha clan or the Toads as a summon.

Mikoto also inherited, like Naruto, her Grandmothers ability to solidify her chakra into weapons or restraints (such as chains), but she has yet to activate or receive training with her Uzumaki bloodline.

Weaknesses: While Mikoto is capable of detecting and dispelling simple illusions, she has little patience for them, and her ability to cast them is horrendous compared to her skills in other areas.

She has also had very little training with regards on using her Sharingan, and is unwilling to use it due to this fact. She has little training with her Sharingan, and so unwilling to use it.

She has inherited Naruto's bad chakra control, meaning she has to do daily exercises to keep it at a level she is happy with. her physical fighting abilities also need improvement.

She has her complexities, but all in all, she like to aim for simple
