Chidori just uploaded the first videos of the 'series' on her YouTube account, so I'm indulging in shameless plugging of our combined efforts.

Biggest Effing Picture I've ever done. Both file wise and character-wise.

A sketch I made on holiday with :iconchidori-blossom23792: after we had done some shooting for our Konoha Boarding School Skit.

Then we found horrid continuity errors, accidentally filmed too much, forgot scenes, and had to draft in a friend to help finish the larger group scenes... A small skit has turned into a short series. ^^;

And the phrases 'Car!!!!' 'Shit! It's a lorry! 'Boss!' and 'That Bloody Book!' have become running gags for use when you need small talk.

Anyway, these are the characters we cosplayed^^

Cast was as follows:

We had a lot of fun making it :boogie: so I turned the little scribble I drew when we were camping in the rain (and coming up with mad stories about a boat called 'Hamish' and 'spindlydoodles') into a full picture.

And yes, that is a tribute to the amazing board game called Twister in the background Lol :giggle:

Seriously the number of layers :cries: Let me give you the basic jist...

There a layer for line art, Hair, skin, and then a separate one for whatever article of clothing or object being held. Some things have two separate layers (eg, the pink and black on Naruko's bag).

Do that for each character. Then double it again for the shade for every layer for each character.

Then there's the background, the title at the top, and the different text layers, then the thought bubbles, the backgrounds for the bubbles so the background don't show through, then Inner Sakura...

*falls on floor dead*
It was scary. End of story.

But It was fun anyway :psychotic:

I used a 0.03mm mechanical pencil with 2H graphite leads to draw the sketch, then I scanned it into my computer and used Adobe Photoshop CS3 to re-draw the lines and colour it in :)

Yay! Gotta put a few new links up, but glad you liked them - you have no idea how many hours go into making them XD We usually get carried away and there a whole load of bloopers to go through...

XD I can imagine so! Making videos, especially ones that involve cosplay certainly must be time-consuming, indeed! Bloopers are evident, and can even come into the fact that when you go unscripted...XD Oh yeah, they were awesome!
